Today's post is in video format yo! A little bit of background here. On Wednesday's post I asked readers to submit a question which I would respond to via my first video post. You can read the comments in their entirety or watch me stumble through them with my flimsy cue card.
This is my punishment for buying a sweet laptop with a built-in webcam. I created a YouTube link to the same video making it the talk of the internet or just more accessible. This is my first official video post so tread lightly or not. Have a good Thursday!
Brookem - you best get the kitty next week or else you'll have like 20 mice running around your pad.
Patches - you love Celine. It's okay to admit it. She's a curvacious humble woman, what's not to like?
Amanda - this comment of yours reminded me to go view American Music again. Thanks for that. See how I'm carefully avoiding the tree comment? You know, it might be best not to talk about that here. You are creepy!
Nessa - that was a small sampling of Monkey Boy.
Brandy - "verbal gold", that's a great term. I'm going to make use of it tonight at our infant CPR class. Maybe I can win over the instructor. No need to sigh.

How cute are you! But please tell me you aren't trying to "tart" up your blog, like CBS news did with Katie Couric. Dan would have a real problem with that. But that's ok, I'd still dig you. :-)

CERVELO! I loved that! How very cool indeed. I was about to sign off and hit the sack, but i checked your blog and found your video...and am oh so sad that i didn't get a question to you in time. Oh well.
The precious moments figuring question was hysterical. And yes, being able to talk with Celine in French, rather than being pummeled by a wild animal would have been my choice as well.
Well, done. And the ending was fabulous. Next time, perhaps you can do your video while dressed in your FKT gettup?

The internet is the best invention EVER. Not only did I get to hear Airam's voice (as well as another blogger), but now I got to see your video! Well done Egan. Love it! I really hope you do more in the future!

Damnit! I didn't get to pose a question. This is what happens when I let LIFE get in the way of blogging! ;)
Anyway, the video was good and had me laughing out loud (for REAL not the fake lol kind). Hope to see more.

Diane Mandy - I can't believe Dan Rather would really say such a stupid thing. What's wrong with the folks at CBS? At least they have Dave Letterman to save their asses. I'm glad you still dig me.
Good for Me - I'm happy you checked it out before going to bed. Glad you liked the answers to the questions. Speaking French is always preferable to getting mauled by a wild animal. Precious Moments figurines aren't so precious. Trust me, this will happen again and you'll get a chance to submit a question. I will dress up in a wild outfit and answers questions, nou doubt about it.
Megan - hey you, how are you? I hear you and Airam are becoming fast friends. I totally see why too with your teaching backgrounds. Truth, the internet is the best invention. More videos are likely occur.
Celeste - there will be future video offerings. I like real laughing, the LOL variety isn't quite the same.

Sob! I missed all that...
I do have to say that you seem very much like I imagined you (see previous comment about if we'd met). I enjoyed the clip. I hope you get to do it again.

ChickyBabe - that's a great compliment and I will take that. Thank you kindly. This little feature will happen again since it was fun and well received.

Nice video. I know Johnny Carson had his "golf swing sign off" thing, but I'm not so sure about your...leprechaun jig?
You don't look like your blog pic. Maybe it's time for a new one?
Posted by: ramblingmuse | June 15, 2007 at 12:48 AM
Yesssss! Now I can continue my creepiness and watch this all I want at work today (we don't have QT on our machines there)!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I know I'm creepy, but am I "the creepiest blogger in all the laaaaand?"
It's going to be a loooong Friday, yo.
Posted by: Amanda | June 15, 2007 at 05:18 AM
Hey Egan, this is what I have to say.
Posted by: ??? | June 15, 2007 at 09:02 AM
Amanda - you do what you gotta do woman. The video is there to watch over and over if you want. When you get bored with that, I will just have to make new ones.
??? - bonjour and welcome to my blog. I love anonymous video comments. That's truly a first for this blog. Yeah. We're breaking new ground here.
Posted by: egan | June 15, 2007 at 10:16 AM
ramblingmuse - hey, what's up with you? Did you go on your trip yet? You don't like my leprechaun jig? Well that's actually more of a made up Monkey Boy thing. You know, the reason the blog exists and all. I think I look somewhat like my blog picture, curls can be deceiving though.

1) Am I allowed to say I think you are cute? Or is Mrs. L going to open up a can of email whoop ass on me?
2)Darn, I should've asked a question! I am too late.
3) Did I really offend you in my blog or were you joking, as usual. If I did, I wanted to apologize. It was all in fun.
Posted by: naynayfazz | June 15, 2007 at 02:41 PM
Naynayfazz - no, you can't comment on my physical appearance on this blog. It's not allowed and Mrs. Lessinges will email you and then post mean things on your blog.
There will be other chances to ask a question. Trust me on this one.
Nope, you can't offend me that easily. Me likes to joke as you can tell by my response above to you about thinking I'm cute.

Loved the sign off!
Posted by: Chris | June 16, 2007 at 07:56 PM
Chris - yeah, I had to do some Monkey Boy antics to tie it all together and to "reward" those who sat through all my answers.
Posted by: egan | June 16, 2007 at 09:56 PM
oh no! I missed all the question asking! What a cool post :D May I add I hardly recognised you without your wife's jacket on. :)
Posted by: mez | June 17, 2007 at 07:08 AM
!!!!!!!!!!!!!
First Jill, now you, and I feel like I've been officially, formally, personally introduced to both of you. A shame it's unrequited. :-)
For the record, you sound almost EXACTLY like I thought you would. Not that I spent months considering it or anything, but still. You know.
Posted by: Jennifer | June 17, 2007 at 12:23 PM
I actually think by other comments on here, I am not the only one who thinks you are cute.
Posted by: naynayfazz | June 18, 2007 at 10:08 AM
i can't believe i missed this. i was off getting married. silly me.

Mez - you really like that tweed coat of my wife's don't you? Next time I will give more advanced warning. I will take questions again this Wednesday/Thursday your time.
Jennifer - ha, funny you should mention Jill. Her rendition of American Music kind of inspired the YouTube post. Thanks for the kind words.
naynayfazz - you think other readers think I'm cute too? Hmm, I'm going to check with Mrs. Lessinges if this is okay to publicize. I'm glad you pointed this out.
lord f - hey, there you are. Congrats on getting hitched. Now we have something else in common aside from the MINI Coopers.
Posted by: egan | June 18, 2007 at 04:10 PM
Please, Please, Please do this again! I was out of town so I didn't get to ask a question but I loved all of your answers. What a cool idea!
Posted by: Cake-Lady | June 18, 2007 at 04:40 PM
Cake-Lady - I'm thinking this will happen again this week with a slightly different theme so stay tuned for an update on Wednesday's post.
Posted by: egan | June 18, 2007 at 11:30 PM
I just found this answer to me. I don't know what led me here. Anyway, I think a lot of female readers are smitten with you judging my the comments. Definitely ask Mrs. L if this is okay. ;)
Posted by: naynayfazz | July 05, 2007 at 05:48 AM
Naynayfazz - Mrs. Lessinges says it's okay. I asked her just now and she grinned and then rolled back over in bed. She's silly like that. I like the word smitten.
